BargainPilot editorial policy
Our goal is to help readers narrow a purchase before they open a merchant listing. We organize buying decisions around usefulness, compatibility, fit, dimensions, materials, safety considerations, budget, and current merchant terms.
What we publish
We publish category hubs and buying guides focused on common shopping problems. We avoid presenting temporary prices, discounts, inventory, ratings, or specifications as permanent facts.
Affiliate relationships
Some outbound links are affiliate links. If a qualifying purchase is made after using one of those links, BargainPilot may earn a commission. That relationship does not increase the price paid by the reader.
How we describe products
We do not claim hands-on testing unless we actually performed it. Until product-level verification or testing exists, our guides focus on what to compare, what to verify on the live listing, and what kinds of products may solve a given need.
Changing information
Prices, promotions, product availability, dimensions, specifications, app support, compatibility, and merchant policies can change. The current merchant listing is the source of truth for the transaction.
Corrections and updates
We update content as the site grows and as material errors or outdated guidance are identified. Substantive buying claims should be supported by visible product information, primary documentation, or direct evaluation when applicable.
